This piece is pretty simple. Photocopy transfers using acrylic medium, glued over soil onto brown kraft paper then sewn onto burlap. The text is about the witch trials and tortures of the middle ages. This was just a quick piece I did with the scraps of the first quilt. Up close the sewn pages have a very leathery texture, very skin-like. Appropriate considering the content of the text.
